DBX 166xl Compressor

Sold by AuraTune Musicals · Accra Metropolitan

The 166XL offers a versatile performance, with both compression and gating that surpass other compressor/ gates. Attack and Release controls produce classic dbx compression at the center settings, and settings at each end of the range offer slow "leveling" and aggressive "peak" limiting. The program-dependent timing algorithm in the advanced gate circuitry delivers smooth release characteristics, even with complex signals like voices and reverbs. The high precision dbx V1 VCA yields an extra-wide threshold range for optimal gating.
