Ukraine or Russian Balalaika Hand Crafted

Sold by The Psalmist · Tema Metropolitan

It is a traditional stringed musical instrument with a distinctive triangular body. Typically, it features three strings and 24 frets, and the one pictured is likely a "prima" size, which is the most common. The instrument is often made from natural wood like spruce or maple and hand-painted with folk art designs, as seen here. It is used for orchestra, ensemble, and solo performances and is suitable for beginners. The balalaika produces a bright, rhythmic tone and is widely used in folk and classical music.
