Tama Picolo Snare Drum

Sold by Soundlabz · Accra Metropolitan

Function: Snare drums produce a sharp, staccato sound and are a central part of most drum kits. Construction: They typically have a shallow cylindrical body and a batter head (top) and snare head (bottom). Snares (wires or metal strands) are stretched across the bottom head to create the characteristic "snare" sound. Size: This appears to be a smaller "jungle" or "piccolo" snare, likely 10" x 2". Smaller snares offer a higher-pitched sound. Material: The drum shell may be made of maple. Features: This snare includes jingles around the side for a unique sound.
