A PG 13.5 is a German-standard thread size for cable glands, characterized by an 80-degree included flank angle, a wider pitch than metric or NPT threads, and a narrow, straight design. This robust design, originating from the German "Panzer-Gewinde" (armored thread), provides secure, strain-relieving, and environmentally sealed connections for cables entering electrical enclosures, typically in harsh industrial and automation environments.
