Description

The arcziel mercury-free sphygmomanometer is an instrument for monitoring blood pressure that utilises a digital display in place of the normal mercury column. It appears as a conventional device but does not utilise hazardous mercury. This device uses the same procedure as mercury-based ones, but they are safer and less harmful to the environment. Accurate measurement requires a stethoscope, and they can be operated in semi-automatic or completely automatic modes.
