Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide used widely in veterinary medicine and agriculture. It is not for internal use (i.e., not injectable or oral)—it is used externally on animals and surfaces. Cypermethrin is effective against: Ticks Lice Mites Fleas Flies (including biting flies and mosquitoes) Maggot infestations (myiasis prevention) How It’s Applied Pour-on / Topical Use Applied directly along the animal’s backline or specific infestation sites. Used especially in cattle, sheep, goats, camels, and dogs (with species-appropriate formulations).
