Telecaster Strat The Animal with padded bag. Body: Brown in black body, often with a gloss finish. Neck: Maple neck with a "C" or other modern shape. Fingerboard: Maple or rosewood (or Pau Ferro) fingerboard, with 21, 22, or 24 frets. Pickups: Typically three single-coil pickups in an SSS configuration, or a humbucker in the bridge position for an HSS configuration. Bridge: A synchronized tremolo (vibrato) bridge system. Controls: Volume and tone knobs, and a 3-way or 5-way pickup selector switch.
