The Mitsubishi Motors Genuine CVT Fluid J4 (Part No. MZ320185 / MZ321212) is specifically designed for Mitsubishi vehicles equipped with Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT).

This fluid is the official factory-recommended choice for several modern Mitsubishi models, typically from 2008 to 2025. Compatible models include:

Key Compatibility Notes
Backward Compatibility: J4 fluid is backward compatible and supersedes the older CVT J1 fluid. 
Exclusivity: It is strictly for Mitsubishi CVT systems and should not be used in vehicles from other brands or in non-CVT (traditional automatic) transmissions. 
Non-Interchangeable: Mitsubishi warns against mixing this with regular ATF.
