# Labo Steering Rack

A car's steering rack converts the circular rotation of the steering wheel into the side-to-side (linear) movement that turns the Motion Conversion: Uses a rack and pinion gear system. When you turn the steering wheel, the attached pinion gear rotates and pushes the toothed metal bar (the rack) left or right.
• Wheel Steering Control: Connects to the tie rods and steering knuckles on both sides of the vehicle, tilting the front wheels left or right depending on which way you turn.
