# Pregnancy Test Strips

To use a pregnancy test strip, dip it in a collected urine sample for the time specified in the instructions (usually 5-10 seconds or until the dye rises). Alternatively, some kits allow you to hold the absorbent tip directly in the urine stream for a specified duration. Place the strip on a flat surface, wait a few minutes, and then read the results by looking for a control line and a test line, which indicate a positive or negative result, respectively. A positive result means two lines appeared, indicating pregnancy.
