The pads are soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol, which quickly kills bacteria and viruses by breaking down their cellular structures. While they are a quick and effective method for surface and skin cleaning, it's important to remember they are for single use, can dry the skin, and are not suitable for broken skin or sensitive materials like wood.
