It is crafted from durable, high-strength Schedule 80 PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) material, which offers resistance to corrosion and high pressure. 
Function: Flanges like this are used to connect PVC pipes to various equipment such as pumps, valves, and tanks, or to allow attachment of accessories. 
 It features a unique two-piece loose ring design that allows the pipe to be inserted and cemented into the stub end while the outer ring remains free to rotate. This facilitates easy alignment with a mating flange or fitting without rotating the entire pipe. 
 A tight, secure, and leak-proof seal is created by placing a gasket between the two flanges and using bolts to press the surfaces together.
